2023/24 Indoor Season
For 2023/24 the Club indoor season commences 8th October.
Booking System
We will not be using the booking system for the 23/24 indoor season. Therefore you can turn up and shoot whenever you wish between the hours of 8am to 10pm each day. The exception to this is when we need to use the indoor range for taster sessions, beginner courses, etc.
Indoor Range Calendar
Pre-booked sessions are already showing on our calendar in the Members Area and we encourage ALL members to check the calendar before coming to shoot to avoid any unnecessary travel. Existing bookings include:
* Beginner Courses : Usually held each Saturday afternoon between 12noon and 3pm.
* Taster Sessions : We already have three taster sessions booked as follows:
====> 6th October 2-4pm,
====> 31st October 1-3pm, and
====> 3rd December 10-3pm.
Range Capacity
Please also bear in mind that the range is designed for 8 archers across the shooting line. For safety reasons 12 archers would be the maximum (shooting in detail) allowed indoors at any one session. Based on past experience and numbers attending it is highly unlikely that so many archers would turn up at any one time due to the diversity of times during the day(s).
Indoor Rounds
Please remember to check you are using the correct size target face, are shooting at the correct distance and shooting the appropriate number of arrow each end as defined on AGB rules of shooting (as copy of the relevant rules are filed in the binder in the indoor Range).
Please note the BRAY II, STAFFORD, WA25 and WA COMBINED rounds cannot be shot indoors due to their distances exceeding 20 yards. These rounds can be shot outdoors if you wish, but please note that any scores submitted will not be eligible for club records or indoor handicaps and classifications.
