Yorkshire Day Competition 2021
Our annual Yorkshire Day competition which lasts all day and should have been held next Sunday 1st August will now be held on Sunday 22nd August.
Please arrive in time to set up for a 10.30am start. We will stop for lunch after the first 6 dozen arrows normally around 12.30pm. Bring your own food. The pavilion will be available to make hot drinks.
For those members who are still unsure about mingling with others can you submit your score during the week before ie; from Sunday 15th to Saturday 21st August.
The reason for the change is our agreement to allow the University archery club to complete their coaching courses before they revert to Saturday afternoons (3.00 to 6.00pm) from the 21st August.
This competition is open to all members and all bow styles. If you are a new member then you will shoot at shorter distances but to be part of the competition you will have to shoot 12 dozen arrows.
